Overview
Enjoy a beautifully scenic chairlift ride to the summit of Berkshire East Mountain Resort. Chairlift rides are open on days that the Thunder Mountain Bike Park is operating and the lift is spinning.
The last Scenic Chairlift Ride will be offered 45 minutes prior to park closure to provide ample time to take in the view and ride the lift back down before closing for the day.

Thank you for your purchase, we look forward to your visit. Scenic Chairlift Rides do not expire and are non-refundable.
Check in and Location:
Please stop into our Welcome Center and one of our staff members will check you in, insure your waiver is completed and provide a wristband for admittance to the Chairlift. We will then provide directions for checking in with the lift attendants.
*Online sales stop at 3:30pm and In Person Ticket Window sales will stop at 4pm.
Signing your waiver ahead of arriving makes the check in process a breeze!
Weather:
We do not cancel trips for rain or other inclement weather. We operate rain or shine, regardless of the temperatures, so please come prepared with rain gear and warm clothes, if rain or cold temperatures are in the forecast.

If You Have to Cancel:
If you choose not to purchase the cancellation insurance and need to cancel:
- More than 30 days in advance of your trip date, we retain a $10 per person cancellation fee.
- 30 days or less in advance of your trip date, you forfeit the entire cost of your trip, unless you have purchased the Cancellation Insurance or have to cancel due to Covid restrictions (see below).
- Covid related cancellations made 30 days to 24 hours before your scheduled trip date are ONLY eligible for a credit for the total amount paid. No-shows on the date of the trip or last-minute cancellations are not eligible for a credit. If you would prefer a refund, we encourage you to purchase the Cancellation Insurance.
Transferring Reservations:
All reservations are transferable to another person, but not another date, unless you have purchased Cancellation Insurance. Transferring to another date is the same as cancelling.
Cancellation Insurance:
Cancellation insurance allows you to cancel or change the date of your reservation up to 24 hours in advance of your trip. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund minus the cost of the cancellation insurance and processing fee. It must be purchased for the whole group or not at all. No-shows on the date of the trip or last-minute cancellations are not covered by cancellation insurance.
Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
