Description: Imagine a magical meeting with a playful sea lion. This program was created especially for you and the sea lions to share a series of thrilling activities while establishing a unique bond. Jump in the deep pool with a sea lion for some fun & educational interaction.

Guests must be in the park and checked in for their program at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled activity time. Guests who fail to be on time and have not canceled or rescheduled their activity in accordance with the Terms and Conditions listed on the website will not be refunded.
Children ages 9 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult. 1 child per adult.
Bring or wear:
- Swimwear with cover-up, and a towel.
- Please remember to use only Coral Safe Sunscreen in the USVI – It’s the law. If you didn’t bring yours, we can help and have Coral Safe Sunscreen available for purchase in our gift shops

Sea Lion Swim Information
Our program is designed to be both personal and unique, making our Sea Lion Swim unlike any other marine animal interaction!
Program Details
• Program duration: 75 minutes including check-in, orientation, interaction, and photo processing (animal interaction time: 25-30 minutes)
• Interaction time is approximately 50% on land and 50% in the water
• Sea Lion Swim maximum capacity: 10 guests per animal
• Photo opportunities: individual posed photo, group/family posed photo (water), group/family posed photo (land), numerous candid photos of the experience (photo flash drives available for purchase)
What to Know
• Each child between ages 7 and 9 must be accompanied by a participating 16-year-old adult (1 child per supervising adult).
• Participants must be able to understand basic instructions in English in order to safely participate.
• Unfortunately, non-participating observers are not allowed into the sea lion area (for the safety of our guests and animals).
• Personal cameras, sunglasses, cell phones and other loose objects are not permitted. There is an area to put your personal belongings.
• Coral World staff will take photos of your experience. Flash drives will be available to purchase at the retail store.
• Bring or wear: swim wear with cover-up; towel
Sea Lion Swim FAQ
Q: Will the sea lion give me a kiss?
A: He will if you want one! All of our guests will get an individual photo opportunity with the sea lion. The setup is variable, and if you have something specific in mind, we’ll do our best to accommodate you. If you want a kiss as your individual photo, just let the trainer know!
Q: I’m physically challenged. Will I still be able to participate?
A: Yes, but you may not be able to go into the water, depending on your particular challenge. Our sea lion pools are deep-water, without shallow platforms. We enter and exit the pools using a ladder along the wall of the pool. If you are unable to climb up and down the ladder, you will not be able to go into the pool. However, we often have guests who participate fully in the program and choose to stay out of the water, so even if you can’t go in, you can still enjoy the program!
Q: I’m not a strong swimmer. Will I still be able to participate?
A: Yes! All of our guests wear lifejackets while in the water with the sea lions, and we often have complete non-swimmers enjoy our program. If you are uncomfortable in the water, even with the lifejacket, you have the option of holding onto the pool side, the entry ladder, or can even choose to stay out of the water completely. In any case, you can still enjoy the program!
Q: Can I request to meet a specific sea lion?
A: Unfortunately not. Our sea lions rotate between interaction programs, shows, training sessions, and other fun activities, so they never know what they’re going to get to do next. Keeping their day random is one way to ensure their experiences are fun and positive, and keeping their activities spaced out ensures they don’t get bored with their routine.
Q: I’ve been to Coral World before. Will my sea lion experience be the same as last time?
A: Probably not. We try to make every program unique, as this makes it much more fun for our animals! Our sea lions all have different personalities, and we often cater programs to allow them to be the most successful and enjoy their time with you as much as possible.

Cancellation Policy
A credit card is required to reserve admission and activities. The said credit card will be charged the full amount at the time of booking.
Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours prior to your scheduled activity with no penalty. Cancellations made 72 to 48 hours prior to scheduled activity will be charged a 20% service charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior, or No-Show to scheduled activity will be charged the full amount of the activity. No refunds for not meeting activity requirements set by Coral World Ocean Park. No refunds for persons who refuse to do an activity if one of their party members does not go.
A re-booking fee of $50.00 will be charged if you need to make any changes to your booking within 48 hours of the activity date. Name changes are excluded from this fee.
