Season Pass Perks:

• Unlimited Visits during Premier Alpaca Experiences and/or Meet & Treats for the current year
• 10% Discount in The Shoppe
• 10% Discount on festival admission
• Exclusive Season Pass Holder Appreciation Party—a special event just for pass holders (more information will be sent out on this event).
• Blackout Dates: Special events and Spring, Fall & Winter Festival Days
• The Season Pass is valid for the current calendar year and renews annually on January 1st (no proration for mid-year purchases)

How to Use Your Season Pass:

1) Make a Reservation: Season pass holders still need to book visits in advance. Reservations can be made up to one hour before start time.
2) Enter Your Member ID: When booking, choose from either an All Ages or Adult Only Premier Alpaca Experience or Meet & Treat, choose your date and them, then click "Are you a member?" and enter your unique membership ID to apply your pass benefits.
3) Enjoy Your Visit! Whether joining a tour or heading straight into the pasture after your first visit, we can’t wait to see you at the farm!

Your First Visit:

For your first visit, you’ll start with a guided Premier Alpaca Tour, where you’ll meet our alpacas, explore the farm, and learn more about what makes Black Barn Alpacas special.

At the end of your tour, be sure to pick up your exclusive season pass holder lanyard! This lanyard identifies you as a pass holder who has already completed the tour, so for future visits, you can enjoy the farm freely during your scheduled time.

How Future Visits Work:

When you arrive for future visits:

1) Check in with the tour group to receive your alpaca feed.
2) After check-in, you’re free to explore the farm at your own pace—no need to take the tour again!

Here is some important information to know before you visit:

Arrival Time:

Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time. Wait at the Welcome to Black Barn Alpacas sign to be greeted by our staff. We kindly ask that you do not approach the residence or barns on the property. We will come to you.

Parking:

Once you turn in, follow the parking signs and park in the closest available spot. Be aware that parking may be in a grass field. Keep speeds below 5mph and give pedestrians the right of way.

Tickets:

You will not receive physical tickets. Be prepared to show your confirmation email upon arrival and/or provide the first and last name on the reservation.

What to Wear:

Closed-toe shoes are required when visiting our ranch. We encourage boots or tennis shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt -- keeping in mind that alpacas do occasionally spit and farm life can sometimes get you a little dirty. During the warmer months, you may want to consider applying sunscreen and/or bug spray.

Refreshments:

You are welcome to pack a picnic to enjoy after your tour; however, hard coolers are prohibited. We have a selection of bottled drinks and packaged snacks available for purchase inside The Shoppe.

Restrooms:

There is a restroom available inside Barn #2. Our staff is happy to point this out to you!

Let us Know:

Please notify us of any special needs prior to your arrival. Due to the historic nature of our ranch, there is limited wheelchair accessibility, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Weather Policy:

We will operate tours rain or shine; however, we may have to postpone or reschedule if there is lightning or extreme conditions in the area. We will communicate any closures due to weather via email and social media, and will call your listed phone number as soon as possible.

Rules:

Unfortunately, we are unable to welcome pets on the ranch; however, registered service animals are welcome. Do not feed the alpacas anything other than the feed provided by Black Barn Alpacas. There is zero tolerance for chasing the alpacas. Our number one priority is your safety and the safety of our animals. You may be asked to leave, without refund, if you are observed chasing the alpacas.
