Kailua is THE watersports destination on Oahu, so what better place to go stand up paddleboarding? Start your day in the protected Ka’elepulu Stream, part of Hawaii’s largest body of freshwater streams. The perfectly calm water makes it easy for beginners to practice. Next, cruise along Kailua Bay’s miles of protected waters, visit offshore islands, enjoy the many sandy beaches, or even surf the seasonal waves.

- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- Stand Up Board – NSP or Riviera 10’6” – 11’6”
- DLNR Offshore Islet Landing Permit
- Full EVA foam deck pad
- Surf leash
- SUP paddle
- Snorkel mask, boogie board and beach mat
- Lunch. Guests can choose from pizza and calzones, Hawaiian plate lunches, sandwiches, or salads. Our pizza and calzones are made to order in the Beach Center at Bob’s Pizzeria. Our plate lunches are made to order at K&K BBQ where guests will find inside and outside seating. Kalapawai offers freshly made sandwiches and salads.

What should my guests bring?
Get ready to get wet:
• Swimsuits: guests should wear their swimsuits under their clothes at time of pick-up.
• Water: we are eco-friendly so feel free to bring a re-usable water bottle. You will be able to fill it with fresh water at check-in.
• Sun block: we recommend SPF 30 or greater.
• Shoes: slippers (i.e. flip flops, thongs, etc.) are ok, but water shoes or sandals are better for walking around the sharp, rocky offshore islands.
• Camera: bring a waterproof camera. Options to purchase a dry-pack cell phone pouch are available upon arrival. Staff can also provide dry bags for digital cameras or camera phones.
• Dry change of clothes and towel for showering after the trip. (customers must be in dry clothes for return transportation).
• Cash/Credit Cards: we provide free lockers for valuables. Our shop carries many of the above items and last minute add-ons for the trip as well as one-of-a-kind souvenirs. It is also customary to tip guides for great service.Our Pro-shop also carries a complete line of beach wear and beach items such as sunglasses, sunglass holders, rash guards with 100% UV protection . Guests will receive 15% off all retail when they join one of our tours.

Cancellation Policy

Outside of 48 Hours of your Activity:

Cancellations are eligible for a 100% refund.

Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times.
Within 48 Hours of your Activity:

Cancellations will incur a full charge or a $25/Person fee to reschedule (unless you have purchased Trip Protection.)

Tours may be rescheduled unlimited times at the $25 fee each time but will no longer be eligible for refunds.

Groups consisting of 14 participants or more and/or customized activity packages require 7 days notice of cancellation to avoid a 50% charge and may incur additional fees based upon arrangements.
All contentions will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the management. If you have any questions or concerns with this information, contact the manager before booking.
