About the Combo
Mala Wharf Pier located in west Maui Lahaina, has the best chances to see sharks and Turtles of all the dive sites on Maui. There is about a 75% chance to see sharks any time of year. They are the nocturnal and very shy White Tip Reef Sharks. We find them resting on the ground underneath alcoves. This makes them easy to find resting during the day. White Tips are one of the few sharks that can remain motionless. Most sharks have to swim in order to pass water over their gills. But the White Tip Reef Shark can pump the water through their gills using their mouth.
The Night Dive
Nocturnal critters comprise of more than half of the sea life off Maui Ocean Shores. The fish change color and mostly are hiding, while the invertebrates are prowling. You may see, many different types of Lobsters, Crabs, Octopus, Nudibranchs (Spanish Dancers), File fish, Moray and Conger Eels hunting & possibly catching fish (Brutal Entertainment).
Important:
- After the dives... You MUST wait 18 hrs. prior to going to elevation of 1000ft or greater and 24 if more than 2 repetitive dives.
-No Hiking, Zip lines helicopter etc.

Medical Disqualification: Important!
If you have a "YES" answer, then go to the next box and & if it ALSO is a YES on Med Waiver, you MUST contact us prior to getting Doctor to sign release.
This Form MUST be filled out by your Doctor (email it to your Doc) and MUST have a WET Doctors signature and bring it with you. Or, your Doctor must email it directly to us in2scuba@gmail.com With ATTENTION DOCTORS RELEASE)
Certified divers do not need the medical release portion
Grace Period for Medical Disqualification:
- We give a 6 hour grace period from time of booking that applies ONLY to the medical questionnaire. If you have a yes answer & cannot get the Doc release within the 6 hours grace period YOU MUST CALL US IMMEDIATELY !!!! If you don't, and we are Inside our cancellation policy period, all fees will apply & you will not be refunded. Strictly enforced.

Call between 4-5:30 pm the day before your dive to confirm, and if we have updates**

Do Not be Late! Late is a NO Show
- We Start Promptly at the time shown in your booking. (We can't make others wait, and have more scheduled classes/dives after yours). If you arrive late it will unfortunately result in you losing your class and dives, and we cannot reschedule. No Refunds will be possible. Strictly Enforced!!
- Arrive ready to go in the water. Swim suits and sunscreen already on.
- Keep your phone turned on, don't screen any calls dive in case an instructor is trying to reach you due to weather, surf change, or we need to alter time.
Swimming Ability a MUST
- If you cannot complete your dive for any reason, or you indicated you are a STRONG swimmer & comfortable in the ocean when booking, but are not. We will cancel and no refund will be possible. Strictly enforced.
Cancelling/Rescheduling
- You have been informed there is a 72 hour, and 5 day (Peak Season) cancellation policy. If for any reason you cancel within this period for ANY reason, can't complete the dive or don't show up on date and time above, charges still apply. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If an instructors does not believe any participant will be safe to dive. At instructors discretion we will cancel your dive and there is no refund. This is for your safety. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you reschedule your booking, we cannot accept cancellations from that point onward and NO refunds will be made.
Altitude AFTER Diving
- If you tell us you are going above 1,000 feet altitude sooner than the 12-18 hour wait period, within 72 hours, or 5 days (Peak period) of your scheduled dive. You will not be refunded NO EXCEPTIONS. Prior to you first dive you are OK to have come from altitude, but not after.
These are Shore Dives
- Entry and exit from the beach. If you have any special needs/disabilities, you must call to book it and we may possibly require you do it privately with us.
- Participants must be able to carry 20-75 lbs. depending on individual height/weight.
Groups
- Groups are small. If your group is 5 or more, we cannot guarantee you will all dive together in the same group (We can do briefing portion together). Most times we can accommodate, but not guaranteed. If this is a must, then we can do it in two private groups.
We Cannot Hold Valuables.
- If you can't afford to lose it, don’t leave it in your car!!! Maui does get car break-ins. If you choose to leave anything in our van. We are not responsible for any loss.
Elevation After Diving
- Do not go to elevation of 1,000 feet or greater for 12 hours after short / shallow dives, 18 hours after deep or repetitive dives
Minimum Age
-12+ to scuba dive with In2Scuba
Must Speak English
- Each participants MUST be able to speak and understand English!!! For We cannot have someone translating for them.

Cancellation Policy
By checking the boxes I agree to ALL the terms of this cancellation policy.
Cancellation Period
• When reservation is made we cannot charge you prior to hearing you say that you agreed to our cancellation policy. Only then, we can check the box to finalize your reservation. If booked online you have been informed and checked the box agreeing to our cancellation policy. If for any reason whatsoever you cancel within 72/(five day peak periods see below) or don't show up on date and time above, charges still apply. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Check-in the Day Prior
• I must check in with In2Scuba by phone the day before the scheduled class/dive, so I’m aware of the location to meet. If I do not check in and In2Scuba changes the proposed dive site location (in confirmation letter SPECIFIC TO EACH BOOKING and or verbally) and I show up at the wrong location I will not be refunded.**
Communication
• The day of the class/dive I must answer the phone. In2Scuba may need to make changes to location at the last minute. If I do not answer and I show up at the wrong location I will not be refunded.**
If Unable to Complete Dive
• If you booked for one or more dives and anyone in your party is unable to complete ANY of the dive/dives that day, AND/OR upcoming, you will not receive a refund for any dive that was not completed. Please do not ask for a refund, you will be told NO, We Will NOT give a refund**
Rescheduling
• If you, or we reschedule your booking, we cannot accept cancellations or, rescheduling from that point onward and NO refunds will be made.
• If you have rescheduled, we cannot reschedule again within the 72 hour/ 5 days prior to your dive. If you must reschedule within your no cancellation period, it will be treated as a new booking and full charges will apply and previous booking charges will be forfeited. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Weather
• Rain and wind are not reasons to cancel. We will decide if it's OK to proceed. If you cancel due to weather, and we are still able to dive. You will not be refunded NO EXCEPTIONS.
Intro Dive Prior to Shark Turtle Wreck Prerequisite
- If signed up for the Shark/Turtle dive and are not certified. You must do the Intro Scuba Dive dive successfully prior to your Shark/Turtle dive. Both dives are pre paid, and no refunds within the cancellation period prior to dive, or day of scheduled dive. If you are unable to complete, or if after your Intro dive we deem it unsafe for you to do the Shark/Turtle dive. We will have to cancel, and we cannot refund you NO EXCEPTIONS!
Cancellation Policy During Peak Periods..
• 5 days=120 hours prior to scheduled class/dives. This is Feb 1st - Feb 15th. March 1st - April 30th, June 1st - Sept 30th, Nov 15th - Jan 10th. We only take small groups and are turning away customers in these periods therefore, if you cancel we cannot absorb the cost of cancellations and customers we turned away.
Sickness
• I understand if anyone in my party of divers are sick, or have any symptoms that we observe that they are. We reserve the right to cancel, and there will be no refunds. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!** This is due to CDC guidelines to protect you, other participants and our Staff.
No Drinking Alcohol Prior
• If we smell alcohol or observe behavior that leads us to believe anyone is under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, we will cancel your dive/dives and no refunds will be made.
Altitude & Diving
• If you tell us you are going above 1,000 feet altitude sooner than the 12-18 hour wait period after your dive within 72 hours/5 days of your scheduled dive. We will cancel your dive/dives. You will not be refunded NO EXCEPTIONS.
Swimming Ability
Our website says we specialize in beginner divers. This does NOT mean we will teach you swimming. If you cannot complete your dive, or you indicated you are a strong swimmer in the (ocean) when making your booking, & we determine you are not. At instructor's discretion we will cancel your dive and there is NO REFUND. This is for your safety. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Late/No Show
• No show or late for scheduled time. We have multiple classes and dives scheduled throughout the day. If you arrive late that will put us behind schedule and cause others to be inconvenienced, or late for their activities planned. The result. We cannot offer a refund or reschedule. We have others that arrived on time and we cannot make them wait.
If We Cancel
• If for any reason if your instructor determines that it is not safe for you to continue in the class, and or dive. We will have to cancel and there is no refund. This is for your safety. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If due to weather we will try to reschedule. If we can't you will be refunded.
Rescheduling
• If we need to reschedule for ANY reason including weather etc. The cancellation policy will remain in effect from the point of time we rescheduled you. If you cancel within the new 72 hour/5 day bracket prior to your dive, you will not receive a refund NO EXCEPTIONS.
eLearning
• eLearning is NON-REFUNDABLE. When you sign up for eLearning. We have to purchase the code which even we cannot get refunded by the agency we are certifying you under. You will not be refunded eLearning for any reason whatsoever. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You Must Call
• Voicemail, email and or text cancellations or rescheduling requests are NOT ACCEPTED. You must speak to a representative. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Affiliate Bookings are Final
• Bookings made through Tripadvisor, Viator, Groupon, Get Your Guide, Expedia or any affiliate are All sales final and there is a NO REFUND policy in effect.
Group Size
- For safety our groups are small. If your group is 5 or more, we cannot guarantee you will all dive together in the same group (same time yes). Most times we can accommodate, but not guaranteed. If this is a must, then we can do it in two private groups. The dives are done from the shore, beach access. Participants must be able to carry 20-75 lbs. depending on individual height/weight.
Special Needs
- If you have any special needs/disabilities, you must call to book it and we may possibly require you do it privately with us.
Medical Release
• If you have a "YES" answer on the medical questionnaire within the cancellation policy period, and cannot provide us with a signed doctor's release form, or at time of class/dive. We will not allow you to dive. You will NOT get a refund! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Agreement
• If you do not agree with our cancellation policy, or have a YES answer on medical waiver. You must let us know via email, or on phone with a representative within 6 hours of making your reservation prior to the 72 hour (five day peak period) cancellation period otherwise you are financially responsible.
