About
Our Short & Sweet Tour is generally 3 hours long and are of easy to moderate difficulty on well-maintained trails. In this time we offer driving tour and/or short hikes to some easy to reach overlooks including waterfalls, interior mountain range views, and beach and coastal hikes.

Your guide will call you the day before your tour to check in.
Below is a gear list for your tour (this is a general list, items will vary depending on the specifics of your custom tour). Please let us know if you don’t have a particular item, and your guide will check for extra “lenders.”
• Small daypack
• Snacks
• Water (minimum 2 Liters per person, “Camelbak” drinking systems work well)
• Comfortable hiking boots or trail shoes with good traction
• Sun Glasses
• Sun Screen
• Sun Hat (optional)
• Binoculars (optional)
• Camera (optional, if possible bring in a zip-loc bag for “waterproofing”)
• Lightweight hiking pants or “convertibles” for hiking through undergrowth on less frequented trails (optional, but recommended for those with sensitive legs)
• Lightweight rain jacket or poncho
• Lightweight rain pants (optional)
• Trekking poles (optional)
• Change of clothes to leave in the car in case you want to change on the way home. Swimsuit. (optional, depends on type of customized tour)
If it is more comfortable for you, you can wear your flip flops or other shoes until we arrive at the trailhead, then change into your hiking footwear before we start hiking. It’s also a good idea to bring extra water to leave in the car for before and after hiking.
Conditions on Kauaʻi range from rainy with temperatures in the low 50’s to full sun with temperatures in the high 80’s.

Meeting Location:
Meeting locations will vary depending on the specific location(s) of your tour.
Special hotel and other location pick up accommodations can be made for an extra charge. Please call us at least 48hrs prior your tour is you would like to schedule a hotel pickup for your group.
Know Before You Go
- If hiking is part of your tour, you must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to hike on unpaved, uneven, steep and possibly muddy terrain.
- If hiking is part of your tour, please bring comfortable, "broken in", closed-toe trail shoes or boots with good tread
