Check in approximately 2 hours before sunset on the beach in Horseshoe Bay. Full instruction and safety brief is provided before launching and a little more instruction on the water to make the tour easier for everyone. The guided tour stays within the sheltered waters of Horseshoe Bay as you take a leisurely paddle out to Horseshoe Bay Point before drifting back over sea grass beds and coral gardens to watch turtles come to the surface to breathe close by and wildlife prepare itself for the night’s ritual. Reflect over your day, have a chat or sit in silence as you soak up the last rays of the sun with a relaxing drink in hand and watch the sunset behind the anchored sail boats.
This tour is suitable for the beginner to intermediate paddler and operates with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 12 customers and is priced per person, in a double sea kayak.

What to Bring
Footwear to get wet, swimmers, shorts, shirt, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle A small bag containing towel and change of clothing for when you return
Included in Price:
Double sea kayak, paddle and safety equipment, full instruction and safety brief, experienced and qualified guide, guided tour, tropical breakfast. Stinger suits are available for use during stinger season and are included in the cost of the tour.

Once arriving at horseshoe bay beach turn left and our meeting location is 100metres away from the boat ramp. You will spot our kayak trailer and signs!

Cancellation Policy
It is the customers responsibility to arrive on time prepared to start the tour on the booked date at the advertised check-in time
The travel date may only be altered with more than 48 hours notice to Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks prior to the originally booked tour
For tours cancelled more than forty eight hours prior to the originally booked departure date then monies will be refunded, less 25%
No refund will be given, or departure date altered, for tours cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the originally booked departure date, or for persons who do not show for departure on the booked date at the advertised check-in time, or for persons who turn up after the check-in time for the tour
For tours cancelled by Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks customers will be transferred to another tour
For a booking to be confirmed full monies must be paid to Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks or an Agent or Credit Card details provided to Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks
The customer agrees that monies can be deducted from their Credit Card for tours cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, for persons that do not show for the tour on the booked date at the advertised check-in time, or for persons who turn up after the check-in time for the tour
