Thank you for booking with us at Tofino Paddle Surf! See you soon!
Please pay attention to the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*arrive wearing your bathing suit if possible. We will provide you with a bag you can bring to the beach or leave in your vehicle for your clothing.
*If you are with a big group or have kids in the party, please arrive as much as 15-20 mins earlier.
*online waivers need to be signed for all surfers or paddlers in the group
*park in the hotel lot and follow the path towards the beach to find the shop to get suited up into your gear.
*Surf Lessons - once you are in your wetsuits, you will drive a few minutes down the road to the next beach for the surf lesson. We will transport the boards. If we are surfing at the beach in front of our shop (usually not in the summer months), your vehicle can remain parked in the hotel parking lot.
*Surf Lessons - if we are surfing at a different location you must DRIVE YOURSELVES to the beach. Again, we will transport the boards and tell you exactly how to get there in the drive is five minutes maximum.
*WE DO NOT PROVIDE PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION FOR SURF LESSONS

Due to high demand in the summer, refunds are not available for rentals.
Beach Pay Parking Permits for Surf Lessons: Annual passes in 2021 are $120, day passes are $12, hourly parking costs $3 for the first two hours and $3 each hour afterwards. You will need to purchase a 2 hour parking pass when arriving to the beach to park for your lesson. Parking Permits can be bought at the beach parking areas once you arrive. Link here for more info. We recommend using the digital apps such as Honk Mobile App, Pay By Phone App as the booking can be done in advance.
If you wear glasses: We recommend a strap for your glasses for SUP. Contact lenses are highly recommended for surfing/SUP surfing/bodyboarding. Surfers often wear contact lenses and keep their eyes shut when they are under the water or waves are splashing their faces. Glasses will be lost, broken or a potential hazard.
WHAT TO BRING:
Sunscreen and a hat (we have some cool sun hats and beanies at the shop if you forget yours:)
A warm hat/windbreaker jacket in case its cool out
Wear your bathing suit
Towel

Cancellation Policy
Lessons:
Full refunds will be given for cancellations or changes that are made 48 hours prior to the start of the lesson. If you do have to cancel or change your date please contact us as soon as possible.
A minimum of two people are required to run the group SUP lessons and tours. If it is the case you are the only person signed up for the lesson, we will contact you the day/night before and let you know. The options will be to upgrade to a private lesson, change the time or date of the lesson or take a rain check.
We reserve the right to cancel any service due to unsafe weather and wave conditions. Cancellations due to weather and waves will be rescheduled and payment will be applied to the rescheduled date. We reserve the right to substitute equipment and personnel in the case of emergency we deem it necessary.
When making any booking please ensure you supply a local Tofino telephone number that we can contact you to inform you of bad weather conditions that may hinder the tour or lesson.
Rentals:
Full refunds will be given for cancellations that are made 24 hours prior the rental start time booked. If you do have to cancel please contact us as soon as possible. During the summer months of July & August refunds are not available for rentals.
Equipment Damage:
Damage to equipment, missing equipment and late returns on rentals are subject to repair, replacement and late fees. For a full list of damage pricing and late fees, please contact us.
