Like our other classes, our Stroke School lessons are broken down into levels based on the extent of experience the student has.
These 30-minute swimming sessions are private 1-on-1 with a swim instructor to ensure each student gets the attention they need to become pros in the pool!
Among the offerings at Hilo Ocean Adventures, these are more advanced swim lessons where students have acquired some knowledge of swim strokes and are ready to develop them further.
Requirements
- Student is able to swim 20 ft of simple freestyle with side breaths
- Student is able to swim 20 ft of simple backstroke
- Student is able to streamline kick 20 ft on their back

- Operator-Initiated Cancellations (e.g., due to weather): Guest receives full refund or gift card.
- Refund Processing: Refunds may take longer than 24 hours to process and are issued in the order received. You may choose a transferable gift card, valid for one year from the date of cancellation.
