You get to fish in our beautiful and Alaska's 1st solar powered permanent ice fishing cabins that are fully insulated floor to roof (r-10), and are heated up to comfortably fish for hours on even a -40F stormy winter day. Our professional fishing guides are enthusiastic that you will find this a very special and unique ice fishing trip while you are here in Fairbanks.
When the temperatures have dropped, our local frozen Fairbanks and Interior Alaskan lakes will offer the perfect opportunity for an unusually fun time in the sub-arctic outdoors. While ice fishing and catching fish in a warm (heated) fishing cabin on a beautiful local Fairbanks lake you may still safely enjoy the brisk, clear air and peaceful environment of Interior Alaska, the home to some of the best ice fishing this state has to offer.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS for Self-Driving
If you chose on driving yourself, please see the google map link above and/or follow our driving directions:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS for self-driving to your ice fishing tour with meeting location at "Chena Lakes Recreation Area": Drive south on Richardson Highway just passed North Pole until you see the exit sign for “Chena Lakes Recreation Area” or Buzby Rd.. Take exit, turn left at the first traffic light and go under the overpass. Take the first right again following the sign for "Chena Lake Recreation Area". After about 2miles you will enter the park at a toll booth with an area map and the road splits temporarily. Keep driving along the dam to your right until you get to the sign that says “Lake Park”, turn left here. Go around the lake to the boat ramp. Watch out for a small company sign with an arrow pointing to the right with our logo - "Alaska Fish & Raft Adventures Ice Fishing". There is also a “boat rental” sign; park across the bathroom cabin. Walk down to the lake and to the 2 brown (wooden) cabins numbers “F33” and “F38”, approx. 200ft to right from the boat ramp. The cabins have solar panels next to the door. This is your meeting location!
