Description: 2 hour walking tour at night in the Downtown Historic District. A Licensed City Tour Guide will Narrate the Haunted History and provide real K2 EMF meters for you to use to search for Paranormal Activity during the tour. Visited sites will include Revolutionary War Battlefields, Cemeteries and a walk past several Haunted Mansions which are privately owned.
What is Included: Tour routes now vary due to new City ordinances as of 02/02/2025:

  • Several marked and unmarked Cemeteries.
  • A Revolutionary War Battlefield.
  • A walk through several Beautiful Savannah Squares
    surrounded by documented Haunted Mansions.
    What is not Included: Bring Water when it's hot outside. Savannah is a Sauna in the Summertime.
    There are no Public Restrooms along the tour route, Plan Accordingly.
    Watch the Weather, Dress Weather wise. Wear comfortable walking shoes!

Itinerary: This is a walking tour. A moderate level of physical fitness is required. We will be walking on a variety of urban surfaces.
Highlights: You will be visiting one of America's Most Haunted Cities. Our Licensed City Tour Guides have over 28 years of experience in leading and narrating tours through the Historic District. This is a Haunted History Tour.

Our Guests are provided with the use of a real K2 EMF meters to search for Paranormal Activity along the tour route. We encourage you to take photographs along the way and at our stops. We have guests capture orbs and the occasional ghost. They send us pictures to share with you.

Can we guarantee you will see a Ghost? No, we have no control over them. However, we will take you to the best places where evidence has been captured. If you are open to a Paranormal Experience they may sense your energy and reach out.

All the information you need starting time, directions, etc., are on your ticket confirmation when you receive it. We will have a copy of our reservation and know you are participating.
What to Bring: This is an evening walking tour. Dress weather wise, wear comfortable shoes. Carry water and in the summer have bug spray. Our mosquitos will fight over you.
Special Requirements: Must be 16+ years old to participate. No Alcohol or animals allowed on our tour. We've heard it all, Please don't ask.
Restrictions: This is an evening walking tour. It averages about 2 hours and is about 3,500 steps over different types of paved and unpaved areas. Wheelchairs and strollers are not recommended. There are a few benches along the way but not always are they available. Our tour is "stop and go" and lot of standing. If you have mobility issues I would recommend one of our Trolley Tours.
Extras: We provide real K2 EMF meters for you to use.
Our Tour Guides are Licensed by the City of Savannah and wear ID Badges so you know you will be guided by a Legitimate City Tour Guide.

The Savannah Ghostwalker Tour is a "Walking Tour". We start in Madison Square which is 322 Bull Street. Madison Square is located behind The Desoto Hotel. In Madison Square there is a Statue of a man holding a flag and a sword: SGT. WILLIAM JASPER.

Please meet your Tour Guide in the "southwest corner" of Madison Square at the historic marker: "THE MARCH TO THE SEA". It is located across the street from St. Johns Episcopal Church which has a large stained glass window above the front entrance.

Confirm with the tour guide that it is: "THE SAVANNAH GHOSTWALKER TOUR", to insure you are on the correct tour as several tours pass through this area between 8:45 pm and 9:00 pm.

PARKING:

If you can't find on street parking near Madison Square there is parking available at
"THE LIBERTY STREET PARKING GARAGE" on Liberty Street near the "DESOTO HOTEL" and next to "THE MELLOW MUSHROOM RESTAURANT."
It is a 5 minute walk from the parking garage to Madison Square and our tour. Please plan accordingly for finding Parking as our tour starts at 9:00 PM. Spring and Summer is very busy in the Historic District.

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy:

As the number of spaces available on this tour are limited and your ticket reserves a place for you on a specific night, all ticket sales are "Final and Non-Refundable".

RAIN

Please be advised that we tour unless a severe weather alert has been issued. We watch the weather hourly! Savannah is notorious for "Pop up" Thunderstorms and these usually move past quickly. It may be pouring rain at 8:00 PM and dry at 9:00 PM, and vice versa. We will call you as soon as possible if the tour is going to be canceled or a rain delay of 30 minutes is called.

The Final decision as to whether the tour is a "Go" or "No Go" is a command decision made by the Tour Guide on site prior to the start of the tour. Your safety and the safety of our Tour Guides always come first.

The Savannah Ghostwalker Tour Guide will be standing in the Southwest corner of Madison Square located across the street from Saint Johns Episcopal Church. Find "The March to The Sea" Historical Marker in Madison Square across the street from Saint John's Episcopal Church. Ask for "The Savannah Ghostwalker Tour". Your tour guide will be wearing an Identification Badge with their name on it.

Depending on the night of your tour, Patrick or Gene, "The Ghostwalker" will meet you in the Red Brick Circle, in the Southwest corner of Madison Square across the street from Saint Johns Episcopal Church. Look for "The March To The Sea" Historical Marker.

Watch the weather for Savannah. Dress "Weather Wise". Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to walk at least 3,500 steps. Due to The City not maintaining the paved surfaces you will be walking on a mixed variety of urban surfaces, (Concrete, Brick, Asphalt, Slate, Cobblestones, Grass), and do so at your own risk. This tour is "Historical" in content with the Ghost Stories and Legends that have been passed on from generation to generation.

  1. "No Alcoholic Beverages permitted on our Tour". This tour is not a "Pub Crawl". Please refrain from over indulging in Adult beverages before the tour. Unruly spirits will be exorcised.

  2. You must be 16+ years of age to participate in the tour.
    No Animals of any type are permitted on this tour.

  3. Be aware of the Weather before you arrive and dress accordingly.

  4. Summer evenings are "Hot and Very Humid" in Savannah. You may want to bring a
    "Bottle of Water" with you for the walk. Stay hydrated!

  5. The City has no public restrooms available on the tour route. Please avail yourself of one before the tour starts. Some restaurants or bars along the way may expect you to make a purchase in order for you to use their facilities. The tour continues to move on if you stop.

"The Savannah Ghostwalker Tour" is a Live performance limited to a small group of guests per night. All tickets are pre-sold with no cash walk-ups. The number of spaces available on this tour are "Limited and Reserved", and your ticket guarantees a place for you on a specific night. As long as you hold that ticket no one else can buy in on that space for that specific tour.

In the event that you are a "No Show" your space remains reserved and unavailable for resale. Therefore, all ticket sales are Final and Non-Refundable.
