Begin this stop with a light, local breakfast with a bottle of water: Leonard’s Malasadas. Enjoy it while you view a rock formation formed by Koko Crater's lava flowing into the ocean, this scenic look out is located on Oahu's south shore overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Nu’uanu Pali Lookout
A panoramic view of Oahu's Windward side - Kaneohe, Kaneohe Bay and Kailua. It’s also well known for strong trade winds, forming a natural wind tunnel of sorts.
It was here in 1795 that Kamehameha The Great conquered the island of Oahu in one of the bloodiest battles in Hawaiian history. Led by Kalanikupule, the defenders of Oahu were driven back up into the valley, where they were trapped above the cliff. More than 400 of Kalanikupule's soldiers were driven off the edge of the cliff to their deaths 1,000 feet below.
Byodo In Temple
A majestic replica of a 900-year-old Japanese temple
A visit to the Tropical Macadamia Nut Farm
The Little Country Store on the way to the North Shore...This local family owned business started as a roadside operation in 1987. Steve and Chrissy Paty would crack, sort and package at night and their days were filled with their children at their hip and selling the fresh macadamia nuts from the hood of their car. Enjoy the different local snacks or learn how to crack open some macadamia nuts!
North Shore Shrimp Farm - Fumi’s Shrimp
Choose from any of their signature entrées: butter garlic shrimp, spicy garlic lemon pepper shrimp, stir-fried noodles w/vegetables, or grilled chicken. Lunch is included. All plates come with rice, pineapple and corn
Kahuku Fruit Stand
Known for its fried local banana! This year marks their tenth year of “pizza bakin’ jelly makin’ smoothie servin’ garden growin’ tractor ridin’ fun”! This place is as cute as it sounds and uniquely North Shore.

Dole Plantation
We finish our day at the one and only Dole Pineapple Plantation – home of the original “Dole Whip”. Originally operated as a fruit stand beginning in 1950, Dole Plantation opened to the public as Hawaii’s “Pineapple Experience” in 1989.
