About Alana Yacht Rental
Alana is San Diego Bay's newest catamaran! Our yacht can accommodate up to 40 guests and is perfect for group events. We specialize in bachelorette/bachelor parties, birthday bashes, family/friend outings, corporate events and much more! Alana presents a modern aesthetic with a spacious forward and aft deck, 2 below deck bathrooms, seating surrounding the boat, full bar to purchase drinks and state of the art sound system. We thought of everything to make your group outing perfect, so you don’t have to!

Private Charter Details
- Once booked with us an event coordinator will reach out to go over food and beverage options, add-ons, guest list, and your proposal and contract. They will be your point of contact to help plan the details of your event.
- With a private event you have the option to customize your charter to fit your needs. We have different bar options, water toy add-ons and great preferred vendors we work with!
- Don't know your exact headcount yet? Totally fine, you have the option to adjust your headcount up until 3 days prior to departure!

Congratulations on your Private Yacht Rental on Alana! We are so excited to have you aboard! Please review the details below including parking and walking directions!
Parking Directions:
When you arrive at our address 2700 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego 92106 you will see a large parking lot on the right located in front of the Brigantine restaurant. For free parking, please park in the rear of the parking lot as there are no meters. We do not have assigned parking, so please be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Walking Directions:
Once parked you will cross over Shelter Island Drive and the path to the docks is lined with flags and has yellow markers on the corner. The dock path is located between Intrepid Boat Works and San Diego Marine Exchange. Once on the dock path the boat is located at the second black gate.
Cruise Features
- This cruise will take you through San Diego Bay to see all the major sites such as Portside Pier, U.S.S. Midway and the Coronado Bridge!
- Your Charter includes a Coast Guard certified captain and crew along with a bartender to serve your drinks.
- Alana offers a wide variety of drinks on board including draft beer, wine, mixed drinks and specialty cocktails. Prices range from $8.50 to $13.00.
- Forward and aft deck for socializing with seating surrounding the boat.
- You are welcome to bring some food on board to enjoy. We also work with great preferred vendors if you are interested in catering.
- Get ready for great music, fresh air, delicious drinks, and gorgeous views!
Private Charter Details

Please note:
- You must arrive AT LEAST 30 minutes before your charter time. Check in will be directly at the boat. Please have your guests fill out their waivers and be prepared to present to the crew upon arrival. If you plan to consume alcohol please make sure to have your ID handy!
- We do not allow any outside beverages on board but you are welcome to bring food.
- No animals are allowed on board.
- Alana is sanitized before, during, and after every charter.
- No smoking is allowed on board.
Cancellation Policy
2025 Bookings: Private Charters have a 2-week cancellation policy. To receive a full refund of your deposit you must cancel your reservation 2 weeks prior to the event. If canceled within the 2 weeks you will forfeit your deposit. You have the option to reschedule at no charge up until 72 hours prior to departure. Your reservation is not eligible for a refund 72 hours prior to your event.
2026 Bookings: Private Charters have a 3-week cancellation policy. To receive a full refund of your deposit you must cancel your reservation 3 weeks prior to the event. If canceled within the 3 weeks you will forfeit your deposit. You have the option to reschedule at no charge up until 1 week prior to departure. Your reservation is not eligible for a refund 1 week prior to your event.
Alana will go out rain or shine unless the captain deems conditions unsafe to be on the water. If the captain makes that decision you will be contacted by a team member to go over your options to rebook.
