Additional Info
What do we need to wear?
We’re an outdoor facility, so please make sure you’re dressed for the weather. This might mean waterproofs or a change of clothes. You’ll also want shoes with grip, e.g. trainers or wellies.
Everyone taking part needs a helmet, so no high buns or ponytails, please. We have plenty of hire helmets you can use at no extra cost, or you are welcome to bring your own ski helmet or other suitable helmet e.g. skateboard or cycle helmet. Your helmet must fit securely and be flat fronted (no peak).
What happens on the day?
Please check in at the reception in the main building when you arrive.
All participants should arrive 15 minutes before your start time.
You will be introduced to your tubing instructor and will be shown where to meet for your session.
Everyone taking part must listen to and understand the safety brief. If you arrive late and miss the safety brief at the start of your session, you won’t be able to participate and no refunds will be given.
Your instructor will be on hand to make sure everyone is safe and following the rules.
Tubing rules
- Walk up the designated walkway to reach the top of the tubing slope
- When you’ve had your go, please move off the slope so the next person can slide
- Children aged 3- 5 and 90-120cm must slide in their own little tube with an adult in a separate tube holding on. Children under 3 and / or under 90cm may not tube. Children over 120cm may tube by themselves.
- Helmets must be worn at all times
- Listen to and follow instructions at all times and tell your tubing instructor if there is anything you don’t understand
- No spectators on the tubing surface
- Maximum of 2 people sliding at one time
How long is a session?
After the short safety brief, you'll be on the slope for 50 minutes.
Can my child sit on my knee?
No. To keep them safe, children of any age must be in their own little tube. There are no exceptions.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Our team members are on hand to make sure everyone is safe and enjoying themselves, but there must be at least one supervising adult with your group at all times. You are responsible for everyone in your group and you must make sure that all children are following the rules, not going into any areas that are out of bounds (these are clearly signposted) or causing any disruptions to other slope users.
