We find we can deliver the best experience by picking which sites we visit once we are out of the harbor. Kohala Coast water conditions are ever changing, and the crew will make their site choice by best visibility, calmest waters and variety for our repeat dive guests. All the sites we visit have something great to offer every diver’s experience level and snorkelers as well.
Join us for a luxurious valet dive charter where we take care the details of your dive day for you. Our dive guides like to take it slow underwater so that you have a relaxing time and can enjoy the scenery while also having eco-respectful interactions with creatures big and small
Snorkelers (8 years old and up) are welcome. Snorkelers are often entertained by passing dolphins or great whale activity.
Traveling with uncertified divers? They can book the 2 tank discover scuba course or open water certification course and join you on this charter.

Certification Card Must be Presented at Check In
For your Safety and enjoyment requirements of a certified diver for this trip are
- Have been diving in the past 5 years or taken a refresher course (recommended every 2 years, You may be asked to show your log book)
- Able to swim against a mild to moderate current in open water
- Able to independently maintain buoyancy well enough to complete a three minute stop.
- Comfortable diving in a group of up to 6 divers.
Kohala Diver's number one priority is the safety of all passengers and crew. Therefore, if you are unable to affirm any of the previous statements, you will be required to hire a private guide or completing a pool refresher course. WHAT TO BRING
Certification Card
If you are SCUBA Diving, we will need to see your certification card or other proof of certification at time of check in. Call us in advance if you'd like us to search for your card online.
Towel
We always recommend bringing a warm pullover or light jacket for the boat ride back to the harbor.
Reef-safe sunscreen recommended
We have many varieties available in our store.
We do not allow spray sunscreen use on the boat as it leads to slippery dangerous boat decks.
Reusable water bottle
We have done away with plastic water bottles in an effort to reduce waste. We have fresh filtered water aboard and recommend bringing a water bottle of your own to fill. We have logo water flasks for sale in shop. We also have paper cups available aboard the boat.
Our dive center is open at check in and has a large selection of sunscreen, towels, and the latest selection of dive and snorkel equipment.

Please Note: Elevation Reminder for Scuba Divers
Anyone Scuba diving cannot go to elevation over 2000 feet driving or flying for a minimum of 18 hours after diving.
The Big islands mountainous terrain could be an issue if you are staying in a location that you have to go to elevation, please be aware
Cancellation Policy
We require 48 hour advance notice on any single booking cancellation
We require 7 day advance notice on any private charter cancellation
There is a full charge on any cancellation made less than 24 hours before your scheduled charter or rental for any reason.
Dive and Travel insurance is Highly recommended!!
Things happen out of your control. We have a very generous cancellation policy of 24 hours prior to trip check in (for single booking cancellation) . Due to strict crewing This 24 hour policy will be enforced for any cancellations made inside of this.
