Years of experience working directly with the Amish, cultivating great relationships, and hosting guests professionally for these types of cultural interfaces has brought us to curate the perfect experience for the person who values genuine connection and authenticity.
We will start off with a driving tour passing multiple sites having to do with the original Amish and Mennonite settlement in Lancaster county. Along the way, we will provide an expertly guided, comprehensive history of the Amish, including when, how, and why they came, as well as an insiders guide to their culture, religion, and education. There are multiple stops at private Amish farms and businesses that will provide you a rare glimpse into their unique culture unavailable to most people.
Please Note: This tour requires passengers to enter and exit our van multiple times. If you have difficulty stepping up into a vehicle, this may not be the tour for you. In accordance with Pennsylvania law, all children who require car seats must bring them to use in the van. Car seats are not provided.

Important
Guests should dress appropriately for the weather since this is a year-round, all weather experience. Transportation is provided in our 14 passenger van loKal Experiences van, which does require two steps up to board. There is no handicapped lift. There is opportunity for guests to make purchases at several stops, some of which are cash only, so be sure to have some money if you think you may want to buy something along the way.
Please note: In accordance with Pennsylvania law, all children are required to ride in appropriate car seats based on their age and size. Guests must provide car seats for their children. Not bringing appropriate car seats will result in a cancellation of your tour without refund.

Booking fees are fully refundable up to 24 hours in advance. No refunds within 24 hours.
