Valley Jump Tour Requirements
- This zip line tour is open to anyone age 12 or up.
Because zipping is a gravity sport, we must adhere to strict weight Limits: - Minimum Weight: 100 lbs.
- Maximum Weight: 260 lbs.
- All guests will be weighed at the time of the trip to ensure that they conform to these limits.
About
The Valley Jump tour is our most adventurous and adrenaline filled tour! This is one of North America’s premier zip line tours. After a scenic chairlift ride to the top of the mountain, it is all downhill… with each line getting longer and faster as you go. The first four lines, ranging from 700 to 1100 feet will have you honing your skills and zooming through the canopy before your arrival to X1 and X2. Two of the country’s longest zip lines, our X lines are the real deal! X1 (2300 ft) transports you from mountain to mountain, with great views of the valley floor far below. After a short but rigorous hike up the other side, the tour’s longest and fastest line awaits! At a length of almost half a mile, X2 returns you back to Berkshire East Ski Area at speeds up to 50 mph and almost 200 ft in the air! To top it all off, our dual lines on X1 and X2 allow you share the exhilaration with your friends as you race head to head across the valley. Check-In Policies
We are located on the 2nd floor loft of the main lodge.
- Arrival Time: We require you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. For example, if you have reserved a tour at 9:45 am, please be at Berkshire East by 9:30 am. We use the extra time prior to your trip for registration, signing waivers and getting prepared for your trip. If you do not arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time, the tour may depart without you and no refunds or rebooking will be given. Our zipline tours leave promptly at their scheduled times and cannot wait for late arrivals. Given the circumstances we do not refund no-shows the day of the trip.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver for you. This can be completed during registration or or by following the link above.
Requirements
All tour participants must meet the requirements for their selected tour, we reserve the right to weigh guests prior to their trip departure. If the guest does not meet the requirements we reserve the right to remove them from the tour. The requirements are as follows:
- Mountain Top Tour – Minimum age 8 years old, and weigh between 70 - 275 lbs.
- Valley Jump Tour – Minimum age 12 years old, and weigh between 100 -260 lbs.
If you are participating in our Mountain Top or Valley Jump Tour the tour may take up to 3 hours to complete depending upon the number of participants and other factors of your trip. Participants must also wear closed-toed shoes appropriate for trail walking, (no sandals or water shoes), and should have all clothing necessary to go on your trip, rain or shine. This activity is not appropriate if you are pregnant, or have certain medical conditions and/or injuries that may be affected by strenuous outdoor activity. For the safety of our guests, as well as our guides, participants will NOT be allowed to zip if they are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Berkshire East Canopy Tours reserves the right to remove participants and refunds will not be granted
Trip Insurance
Insurance may be purchased at the time your reservation is made. This insurance allows you the opportunity to make one (1) change or cancellation to your reservation up to 24 hours prior to your tour time. Trip Insurance can only be purchased at the time your reservation is made and must be purchased for everyone in the group. Folks without insurance are subject to our standard cancellation policy.

Activity Cancellation Policy
If You Have to Cancel:
If you choose not to purchase the cancellation insurance and need to cancel:
- More than 30 days in advance of your trip date, we retain a $10 per person cancellation fee.
- 30 days or less in advance of your trip date, you forfeit the entire cost of your trip, unless you have purchased the Cancellation Insurance or have to cancel due to Covid restrictions (see below).
- Covid related cancellations made 30 days to 24 hours before your scheduled trip date are ONLY eligible for a credit for the total amount paid. No-shows on the date of the trip or last-minute cancellations are not eligible for a credit. If you would prefer a refund, we encourage you to purchase the Cancellation Insurance.
Transferring Reservations:
All reservations are transferable to another person, but not another date, unless you have purchased Cancellation Insurance. Transferring to another date is the same as cancelling.
Cancellation Insurance:
Cancellation insurance allows you to cancel or change the date of your reservation up to 24 hours in advance of your trip. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund minus the cost of the cancellation insurance and processing fee. It must be purchased for the whole group or not at all. No-shows on the date of the trip or last-minute cancellations are not covered by cancellation insurance.
Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
