This is a great family Activity: a fabulous memory maker for kids of all ages (age 5 and above) and an educational experience in one! Perfect for homeschooling groups as well!
Our tour includes stories, demonstrations & guidance from a professional tour guide, all the equipment needed for your exploration AND an opportunity to turn your find into a necklace to wear home! Did we mention lunch is included also? Well it is and it's kid-friendly!
Beachwear or other suitable attire. Please keep in mind you will be walking on shells at times, may get wet, will be walking in Venice and going into a restaurant for lunch after your exploration on the beach.
Bring water and sunscreen! You will be in the sun on the beach for approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.

NOTE: Minimum age allowed is 5 yrs. old. Any youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older at all times who will also assume all responsibility for his/her safety. **Please note that all tours require a minimum of 4 people. This does not mean one party must book 4 individuals, but that our total headcount achieves the minimum. We will notify you if we have not reached this capacity and will always strive to accommodate our valued guests!

Important Information
Start Time: 8:45 a.m.

Attire: Beachwear or other suitable attire. Please keep in mind you will be walking on shells at times, may get wet, will be walking in Venice and going into a restaurant for lunch after the beach so you may want to bring a change of clothes along.
Includes: Equipment for the shark teeth search and all food and restaurant gratuities are included in the ticket price.
If you enjoy your tour, tips are accepted and greatly appreciated by our tour guides.
Suggested range $5 to $10 per person
Weather: Tours run rain or shine!
Since this is primary a beach activity, if there are serious weather concerns such as heavy rain, lighting or significant red tide events we will notify you of a tour cancellation and will reschedule your tour or you may elect to receive a refund.
Where to Meet: At South Brohard Park, 1900 S. Harbor Drive.
*** Your guide will meet you near the public restrooms area. Look for the guide and he/she will be looking for you.
Tour will end in downtown Venice after lunch.

Cancellation Policy
Tickets are nonrefundable once purchased unless you have also purchased “Safety Net Protection” at time of booking. This allows you to cancel your tour with at least 24 hours' notice, and we will reimburse you for your full tour ticket price (minus ticketing fee and safety net fee).
All purchased tickets with "safety nets" can be used at a later date, subject to availability, if our office is notified 48 hours prior to tour start time.
Tickets are transferable and can be used by anyone, as long as notification is given prior to tour start time and a waiver is signed. Tours go out rain or shine (unless impacted by severe weather conditions).
In the event of a tour cancellation by Key Culinary/Sarasota Suncoast Tours our guests will always have the option of rescheduling to another tour or receiving a full refund upon contacting our office.
If the cancellation is due to the minimum number of guests for a scheduled tour not being met, guests will also be offered the option of converting their booking to a private tour with an add-on fee.
No-shows will be charged the full price.
Gift certificates are nonrefundable and valid for 1 year once purchased.
