This stretch of the Verde is great for everyone. Along the way you can expect a variety of exhilirating little chutes and riffles, interspersed between scenic, tranquil pools. -
No experience necessary! Perfect for all ages.
At the onset of your trip, your guide will instruct you on basic paddling and boat control skills. From there your guide will offer as much or as little assistance as needed.
Most of the river is shallow enough to easily stand up - on the rare occasion that you might tip out of your boat. And trust us, it is a rare occasion. -

What to Bring
• Sunscreen, appropriate footwear (athletic shoes or river shoes (no flip flops), sun hat, appropriate clothing for the season (quick-drying fabrics), and a change of clothes for after the trip. Check local weather for Clarkdale or call our 1-800-478-4711 for local conditions and forecast.
• **Please arrive 45 minutes prior to trip time. We will meet at Tuzigoot River Access Point. This is located off of Tuzigoot road in Clarkdale. Look for a white van with Clarkdale Kayak logos pulling a large white trailer (we will be obvious and looking for you). From here we shuttle to our launch point at the Lower Tapco River Access Park. This R.A.P. is located a short 2 mile drive from our Tuzigoot River Access Point. The tour ends at the Tuzi R.A.P where your vehicle will be located. https://maps.app.goo.gl/T8Cq4RFHxd8Wqort6
• Food on the trip is not provided. However, many local restaurants are located within a few minutes drive. Smelter Town Brewery is located less than a mile from Tuzi R.A.P. They offer snacks and craft made beers.
• Restroom and changing facilities are available at Tuzi R.A.P as well as restrooms at the put-in location. We advise our participants to use the restroom prior to embarking on the river trip.
What we provide:
• Guide, top of the line, sit-on-top kayak, paddle, Coast Guard approved PFD, bottled water, and shuttle service to the put in.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to departure trip time. Cancellations after 48 hours are non refundable and may be re booked for a $10.00 rebooking fee per person. Cancellations 12 hours before or less will not be refunded or rebooked.
