Disclaimers: Pricing is per seat. Each helicopter is filled with 4-6 passengers. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time as well as no-shows will incur 100% of tour charges. Please contact Manhattan Helicopters at least 24 hours in advance and we will re-schedule your tour at no cost. Late arrivals will be addressed on a case-by-case basis depending on seating and aircraft availability. Reservations made at the heliport forfeit their right to cancel after payment has been made. 300 lbs max weight per passenger. Passengers weighing over 250 lbs will incur an additional seat charge. The scheduled duration of our tours may vary based on flight routing and weather conditions.
Manhattan Helicopters reserves the right to amend the flight paths without notice. Flight routes will be altered during Yankee home games to avoid restricted airspace. All passengers must pass a metal detector and present a government-issued ID for security purposes. Prices are subject to change without notice. Management reserves the right to refuse boarding to a passenger or to upgrade passengers at any time. Manhattan Helicopters reserves the right to alter or terminate any flights due to security maintenance, aircraft availability, emergencies, weather, or acts of God.

Check In
Check in time is 45 minutes prior to your scheduled flight time. All passengers are required to provide a government issued photo ID. A photo ID of the person providing payment is required at the time of check-in. We reserve the right to refuse boarding to passengers that do not provide a government issued ID of the person making payment for services provided.
Heliport Fees
The $40 Heliport Fee is mandated by the Downtown Manhattan Heliport. Heliport fees that have NOT been collected at the time of booking will be due at the time of check-in and can be paid with either Cash or by Credit Card.
Additional Information
No bags are allowed onboard the helicopter. You will be able to take cell phones, tablets, smartphones, cameras, and sunglasses into the helicopter, EXCEPT Galaxy Note 7, everything else has to be left at the heliport. For your convenience, token-operated lockers are provided at the heliport. Tokens can be purchased for $2 at the token dispenser machine.
Please note that any changes to this flight would have to be made at least 24 hours in advance via email or by calling us at 212-422-1700.
Before confirming your tour, we kindly request the following:
- A photo of your government-issued ID.
- A photo of the credit card used to book the tour, with all digits except the last four blurred for security purposes.
Please send these documents via email to info@zipaviation.com within 48 hours.
Failure to provide these documents within the specified timeframe may result in the cancellation of your booking.

Please also remember to bring each passenger’s government-issued photo ID (valid Passport or Driver’s License or State ID) in order to take the flight.
Credit/Debit cardholder MUST be present at the heliport at the time of check-in for the tour. The card that was used to purchase the tour must be displayed and must match the cardholder’s photo identification. This is a security measure to help protect cardholders from fraudulent charges. There will be no exceptions.
If the cardholder will not be present, he/she must email or fax a copy of his/her credit card (front and back) and photo identification to us no later than 24 hours prior to the tour.
Location
We are located at the Downtown Manhattan Heliport, at 6 East River Piers, New York, NY 10004; near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, off Exit 1 on the FDR Drive (Southbound).
We are approximately 45 minutes from Times Square and Midtown Manhattan via public transport.
Please be advised that there is no passenger parking on the heliport property. There are public parking lots and garages within a short walking distance of the heliport.
If taking a taxi, please be sure to tell the driver to take you to the Downtown Manhattan Heliport on the East River.
Most GPS devices can find us as DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN HELIPORT.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time, as well as no-shows, will incur 100% of tour charges. Please contact Manhattan Helicopters at least 24 hours in advance, and we will reschedule your tour at no additional cost. Late arrivals will be addressed on a case-by-case basis depending on seating and aircraft availability. Reservations made at the heliport the day of the tour forfeit the right to cancel after payment has been made. Passengers weighing 250 lbs. (113 kg) or more are required to purchase an additional seat. The maximum weight per passenger is 300 lbs. (136 kg).
The scheduled duration of tours varies based on flight routing, airspace restrictions, and weather conditions. Manhattan Helicopters reserves the right to amend flight paths for safety without giving notice to passengers. Flight routes will be altered during Yankee home games to avoid restricted airspace. All passengers must pass through a metal detector security screening and present a valid government-issued ID for security purposes. Prices are subject to change without notice. Manhattan Helicopters reserves the right to refuse boarding to passengers or upgrade passengers at any time.
