Your friendly and professional staff will break down surfing into its fundamental parts and help you to catch wave after wave. You'll get feedback after each ride to help you refine your technique and ensure you are surfing to the best of your ability.
Private Lessons last for two hours and include the boards and the wetsuits. We'll spend the first 10 minutes on land going over the fundamentals and then head straight into the water for the remaining time.

Thank you for signing up for a Private Lesson! We are super excited to meet you at the beach, and have a great time surfing with you! Ventura Surf Lessons, ISurf, and Santa Barbara Surf School are the same company; you'll be meeting our instructors at our Santa Barbara Surf School vehicles parked at Mondos Beach.
Meeting Locations:
Your surf lesson with take place at Mondos Beach. From downtown Ventura this is an 8 to 10 minute drive north. Known for it's gentle long breaking waves; makes for a much better experience.
You'll take Hwy 101 N 2 - 3 mile until you get to exit 72 State Beaches. You'll drive on this ocean front frontage road for 3 miles and you'll see Mondos Beach on your left and we'll be parked on the right. Please meet at our vehicles for your wetsuits. They're large vans and trucks with vehicle wraps that say Santa Barbara Surf School.
What to bring:
1) water
2) Towel
3) Sunscreen
4) sandals or flip flops
5) clothes to wear under your wetsuit and after the lesson

Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be granted based on the amount of notice provided prior to the commencement of a lessons, tour or camp.
If you cancel a surf lesson more than 48 hours in advance of the start of a reserved activity: your entire fee is refunded, less a $25 administration fee.
For surf camp If you cancel seven (7) or fewer days in advance of the start of your camp reservation: No refund will be provided. You may find someone to take your spot but that must be payed for and confirmed before a refund will occur.
If you cancel a reservation within 24 hours: No refund will be provided.
