Take Hawaii by Storm and let us guide you to one of the most talked about hikes in all of Hawaii! Traverse to Waimoku on the world famous “Pipiwai Trail,” where your group will witness the Banyan Tree, Makahiku Falls, and the lush bamboo forest everyone is talking about! At the end of the Pipiwai Trail, Waimoku Falls awaits! As it crests a 400 foot cliff face it will steal your breath away with its beauty! This hike is located in the Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park. Our expert guides will take you the reverse route or the “backside” route to this hike. Through the rolling hills of Kaupo, to the organic farms of Kipahulu take the road less traveled and make this one of the best days you’ve had on vacation! NOTE: This is a Moderate Difficulty Hike in a remote area. Physical Fitness to complete entire trail is advised! Not everyone in the group is required to complete entire hike and can wait at the visitor’s center while others complete the 3-4 hour hike. All tours are private and customizable. Entire Road to Hana will not be combined with this tour. Purchase the Hana & Back Adventure on a separate day to get the most out of East Maui with this tour.
Bring shoes, swimwear (optional, change of clothes (not needed if not swimming), towels, phone charger, and cash for stops. Bottles of water, Ice Tea and Hawaiian Juices will be provided.**
• Pickup from Resort/Hotel/Condo/Meeting Location
• Stop off at Safeway in Kahului to grab “goodies” for the day
• Drive up through the rolling hills of “Up Country” in Kula
• Pass by the Maui Winery in Ulapalakua
• *Optional Stop at the Ulapalakua Honey Bee Sanctuary
• Journey through the pristine untouched lands of Kaupo with several photo stops along the way
• See historical churches in backside Maui over 150 years old
• Stop off at “Laulima Organic Farm” where they focus on sustainability and you may indulge in the exotic fruits grown right from the property!
• Stop off at the awe inspiring Wailua Falls with potential opportunity to swim in a 97 Foot waterfall (weather permitting)
• Enter into Haleakala National Park in Kipahulu for Hike at Pipiwai Trail to Waimoku Falls (3-4 hours)
• Stop off on return route for Food Destination of your choice!
• Return to Pickup Point

Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 7 days notice of cancellation. Customers will receive a 50% refund or credit with 4-6 days notice of cancellation. Customers will receive no refund and 100% of the cancellation fee will apply with 3 days notice of cancellation. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. All bookings may be rescheduled for an alternative date at anytime subject to availability. No-shows will be charged the full price.
If the client asks to reschedule within 24 hours of the tour, a mandatory fee of $100 applies. If the company reschedules the tour within 24 hours, the fee will not apply.
