Group Size: Maximum of 12 passengers per boat. For larger groups we can used multiple boats.
Accessibility: Two wheelchair accessible boats available upon request.
Description: Embark on a scenic Wildlife Tour, journeying along the south-east coast to explore historic castle ruins, distilleries, and picturesque bays. Our expert crew will share fascinating insights as we navigate towards a Special Area of Conservation, where you'll have the chance to spot harbour seals, red deer, seabirds, and even white-tailed eagles and bottlenose dolphins. An unforgettable adventure through stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife awaits!

What is not Included: - No food is provided during this tour
Check in Details: We recommend arriving at the pontoons 10 - 15 minutes before the specified departure time.
What to Bring: - Warm clothing as it can get cold on the water.
- Sun protection e.g. sun cream, sunglasses and hats.
- Bottled water and any snacks.
Special Requirements: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Restrictions: If you have any health problems and/or are pregnant, please let a member of staff know prior to departure of ANY trip.
Particularly, those with blood circulatory diseases, musculoskeletal problems, osteoporosis or those taking steroids.
Some trips can be bumpy etc. and weather conditions can change quickly. This may greatly effect those with certain health conditions/who are pregnant.
It is at your own risk to carry on with the trip.
Disclaimers: We may need to cancel a tour due to bad weather, a lack of customers or unforeseen circumstances.
We will always try our best to re-arrange guests onto other trips where possible. Sometimes, this cannot be done for various reasons. In this instance you will be given a full refund or if you’d prefer, a gift card for the same value to use at a later date.
Faqs: Can I bring my dog along?
Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome on our Wildlife Tours. Upon booking, please select that you are planning on bringing a dog with you. We recommend you read our Dog Policy on our website.
Does the tour stop at the distilleries?
Our Wildlife Tours go into the bays of each southern distillery. Our crew will give you some information on each of them. All passengers remain on the boat at all times and do not disembark at the distilleries.
What type of boat is this tour on?
Our Wildlife Tours may be on a hard boat or RIB depending on availability. If you would prefer a hard boat, then please call us on 01496 300129 or email our office at info@islay-sea-adventures.co.uk and we will try our best to accommodate this.

Please be aware that we allow dogs onto our Wildlife Trips. If you have an allergy to dogs please contact us are soon as possible to make our staff aware so they can try to make alternative arrangements for dog owners.
We use our hard boats or RIBs for these trips depending on weather conditions and availability. Our hard boats have toilets onboard, whereas our RIBs do not. Our hard boats are also wheelchair accessible, whereas our RIBs are not. If you have a particular preference, then please mention at the time of booking and we will try our best to accommodate.

Cancellation Policy
Full refund or future credit if a cancellation request has been received at least 48 hours before the activity. If the cancellation is after this 48hour cut off, no refund will be given, however you may be able to rearrange your booking to an alternative date. Re-bookings are subject to availability and at our discretion.
If Islay Sea Adventures has to cancel a trip, all passengers booked will be given a full refund or the offer to rebook onto a different date where possible, even under the 48 hour period. A trip may be cancelled due to weather conditions, a minimum number of passengers not booking on for the trip to be viable or unforeseen circumstances.
