Itinerary (2-Day & 3-Day Tours)
Please come to our office the day before your tour during business hours to check-in. If you are arriving after our business hours (office closes at 5pm), proceed to the Harbor 360 Hotel, and check-in by the same name on this reservation.
Day/Night Before
- Hotel check-in time is 4:00pm, or later
Day 1
- 9:00am: pick-up from the hotel, or arrive at our office at 9:15am if you're driving yourself
- 9:15-10:00: gear fitment, and safety briefing
- 10:00am-4:00pm: snowmobile & snowshoe activities
- 4:00-4:30pm: take off gear, warm-up
- 4:30pm: transport back to the hotel (if you didn't drive to our office)
Day 2
- 9:15am: pick-up from the hotel, or arrive at our office at 9:30am if you're driving yourself
- 9:30-10:00am: get geared up
- 10:00am-4:00pm: snowmobile & snowshoe activities
- 4:00-4:30pm: take off gear, warm-up
- 4:30pm:
- 2-Day Tour: your tour is complete, transport to the hotel (if you didn't drive to our office)
- 3-Day Tour: transport to the hotel (if you didn't drive to our office)
Day 3
- 9:15am: pick-up from the hotel, or arrive at our office at 9:30am if you're driving yourself
- 9:30-10:00am: get geared up
- 10:00am-4:00pm: snowmobile & snowshoe activities
- 4:00-4:30pm: take off gear, warm-up
- 4:30pm: transport to the hotel (if you didn't drive to our office)
What To Bring
- Please wear contacts instead of eye glasses. Some eye glasses will fog, hindering vision.
- Bring snacks, and a water bottle (water available at our office).
- Bring warm layers, warm socks, winter hat, scarf/neck gaiter, sunglasses, small camera (dress for current weather conditions)
- Cash or Venmo for guide gratuities (highly-recommended)

- Winter outerwear — insulated jacket, snow bibs, gloves and winter boots

Gear Fitment & Safety Briefing
All guests will come to our office for gear fitment and a safety briefing. This will give you a chance to pack your personal items into the provided backpack. We have complimentary coffee, and water available, as well merchandise for purchase.
Snowmobiles have a 350 pound/158 Kilogram total weight limit for single or double riders.
Cancellation Policy

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to Kenai Backcountry Adventures’ Reservation Policies and Passenger Weight Policy, including all applicable cancellation terms and overweight surcharge conditions.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment from unexpected changes, weather delays, or emergencies.

Summary of Cancellation Terms
Day Tours – No Aircraft Involved
- 48+ Hours Before Departure: Refund minus a 10% admin fee (90% refund)
- Less than 48 Hours: No refund
- No-Shows: Full payment required
- Weather Cancellations by KBA: Full refund (100%). Rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.
Day Tours – Includes Aircraft Travel
- 30+ Days Before Departure: Refund minus a 10% admin fee (90% refund)
- Less than 30 Days: No refund
- No-Shows: Full payment required
- Weather Cancellations by KBA: Full refund (100%). Rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.
Multi-Day Tours & Expeditions
- 60+ Days Before Start: Refund of deposit minus a 10% admin fee, or credit valid for one year
- 60–45 Days Before Start: Payments forfeited, or 50% held as credit for one year
- Less than 45 Days Before Departure: No refund
- No-Shows: Full payment required
- Weather Cancellations by KBA: Refund minus a 10% admin fee. Rescheduling may be offered, subject to availability.
Custom or Tailored Bookings
- All sales are final. Changes or cancellations are not permitted.
- Refunds exclude online booking fees, if applicable.
When Booked Through Another Agency
- If you booked through a third party (e.g., travel agent or online platform), their cancellation policy applies. Please contact the agency directly for any changes or refunds.
